Chad Weaver and I went ot Canoe Creek from 8am until about 2.  Started out as a cold windy morning but turned into a pretty nice/sunny day.  We each caught 1 legal bass.  Both were a little over 3lbs.

Doug S. and I hit raystown this morning and fished for about 7 1/2 hrs. Doug caught a 6.2lb largemouth and a small largemouth. I caught three small shad. Turned out to be a nice day except the wind couldn't decide which way it wanted to blow.

Lovely Weather

I was seriously thinking about going fishing this afternoon/evening for a little bit.  That was until I walked out of the grocery store and got pelted by sleet!   Anyone else have cabin fever?  I was looking through pictures from last year and I had a sunburn!

The weekend is looking up but I have to work a double Saturday and evening shift Sunday.  Good luck to anyone heading out fishing.

On Saturday, March 23, 2013 16 members of the Tyrone Bassmasters braved the cold and wind and fished a tournament on Raystown lake. A total of 7 fish were weighed in at the end of the day. Brock Eaton was able to catch three nice smallmouth bass and won the tournament. He also won big bass honors with a nice 2.45lb smallie. Dan Coccia took second place with two largemouth bass. Doug Savino caught a nice largemouth to give him third place. Jim Ellis took fourth place honors.

The members are already looking forward to our next tournament which is scheduled for late April in Deep Creek Maryland.
